I'm working on revamping my website and turning it into more of an e-zine and resource centre. I'd like to include articles written by as many different people as I can, and include links to good websites. I want it to focus mainly on the subjects of feminism, anarchism, cannabis activism, anti-racism/sexism/homophobia/consumerism, environmentalism and that kind of jazz, but I will consider anything really.
If you have any links or anything you've written yourself that you think might fit, please let me know and I will gladly consider it.

I'm going to compile an informal listing of radfems under 35 (born post-1970) because academia (or as Mary Daly would say: academentia) thinks or hopes us folk are going the way of the dinosaur.
So if you're a rad fem born 1970 or later, could I get a comment? Just give your username, or a nickname, or your real name. And if you know any authors, singers, activists, etc. who are radfem and under 35, could you give us their name. And maybe a little bio for both categories if you like, or a wee manifesto or whatnot. And do you/your rad fems you list identify as 2nd or 3rd wave?
This is not meant to belittle older radfems in any wany, shape, or form. They're more than welcome to comment too, but please state you're older than 35, so i don't count you as a "young" rad fem.
Also, please post this other rad fem/feminist communities, blogs, etc. Let's get this thang going!

I really disagree with the way the media sells sex, it makes me sick they're pretty much telling men that all women are pieces of meat, and that young girls need to dress slutty in order to attract boys. This makes me sick to my stomach, why does it have to be this way? Just because something is enjoyable to people doesnt mean, take it too far. I'm not against sex, but I am against the way its treated. Its supposed to be something special to share with another person you love. Not a game to play where you can see how many people you can sleep with, thats just immoral and disgusting. I've made many comments towards other about this crude lifestyle and of course with their typical minds I've been told that I"m jealous of the slutty girls. Jealousy has nothing to do with it, I am glad I"m not being brainwashed by the media, sleeping with a bunch of people i dont know, because its just stupid. And what are they achieving anyways? Nothing, they arent making themselves look good either, but whats really bad is the media promotes this, pretty much encourages them!
What is wrong with humanity? Why does it have to be this way? Just because some bastards want to be greedy, they have to corrupt the minds of people? Its disgusting, plain flat out disgusting. These people are not people, they're savages!
Sex shouldnt sell, for any reason at all, life isnt all about sex, its about living and surviving thats not all our ancestors did the in past is it? Just because life is different doesnt mean to take it granted, and that is what these sluts are doing. The media doesnt give two shits about the people, just as long as they get the money.
Now as a person who believes in God and somewhat follows the Christian religion, i know that greed and lust are sins so is being a whore, especially sleeping with married men or women. The concept of sex selling is tearing apart the morals people used to have, yes people still have morals and self respect but not many of them, our race is pretty much outweighed by the slutty people and greedy bastards.

Following a day of reading about some things in the porn industry which really tick me off, and also seeing the new trend of making "band" profiles on Bebo that are actually groups against things like racism and homophobia, I decided I would make a boycott playboy "band", but it is of course open to any anti-porn supporters.

Has anyone ever noticed (I mean I'm sure most of you will have noticed, like I have.. but I've never really REALISED it.. ) that female strippers are never allowed to be touched (except maybe the odd VIP girl... egh) on stage, yet with male strippers, they are all over the woman and he even grabs her hands to his chest and gets her to rub oil on him etc.. It's just a weird thing to think about, that even though so many people claim that stripping isn't objectifying to women because men do it too, there is still a significant difference between male and female stripping, where the men are felt and slathered up, quite more objectifyingly than with women!
Although perhaps women aren't less objectified since they are put out to seem like this wonderful specimen that you aren't allowed to touch and that only a "lucky few" have gotten their hands on.

Playkids Update
Some of you may remember the 11 year old playboy/playmate/playboy bunny wannabes from Bebo (and most other places). Well I just went into my old primary school's clubs page, and the BOYCOTT PLAYBOY banner I made is being used as the picture for one of the clubs!! I don't really know how it got there, it could be something to do with me adding that picture on the main primary school page because some kids had been adding playboy ones. But I don't understand how it got to be the picture for a club! Perhaps the kids thought the colours and vampire teeth with hot pink blood were cute!
Ironically wonderful, I say.

I'm sick of seeing artists like this.... why do they feel the need to make art of women in sexually provacative poses, and the women always look like they'd had breast implants and over-made up, when the men aren't? It's pure and blatant objectification. For some pieces it's like he has actually just opened an issue of Nuts and started to draw from it. How inspiring......
And take a gander at that friends list! I really don't get why they all add eachother like that.... I mean I bet they don't even talk to eachother. It's just like a showcase for "trophy" women. Why don't people see just how fucked up that really is?

I don't know about you, but I'm getting very sick and tired of seeing the Playboy bunny everywhere, and think it's ridiculous that most places I do see it are in places like Claire's Accessories (jewellery and hair accessory shop for young teenage and preteen girls), W. H. Smith (on their stationery) and the most frequent place is on profiles of young girls on sites such as Bebo or MySpace.
I really don't think this kind of thing should be marketed to girls of that age, as if endorsing becoming a "glamour" model and idolising them.
So, I made an anti-Playboy bunny picture in Photoshop, and for my personal use I will put it on my Bebo profile and hope to get some kind of reaction or realisation from these girls, and also for anyone else who feels the same way to use anywhere they like.
